So many hidden costs
In my experience, the hosting itself works and has a decent amount of functionality. But the billing part is extremely shady, with lots of hidden costs. For instance, theyll just hide the taxes part, letting you know that theyll bill you for an amount, but when you check the credit card, the amount will be far greater. I did not enjoy this lack of transparency, so I would recommend anyone whos budget-conscious to be very careful with iPage.
Greatest Host Provider
I have been using iPage as my host for a number of years now and have 2 websites hosted by them. The ease of use and customer support is excellent. It is jam-packed with features for the novice and the experienced user. Whenever I have had technical issue support is there and waiting 24 hours a day and the staff are excellent at dealing with any problems
OK but not good
Slow but good for simple one-page HTML websites. Sometimes they would hold some of the files probably making money! I recommend paying a bit more to get better.

Tech support is timely too.
Ive had nothing but good luck with Ipage. When I do not understand something, I contact Tech Support. They always get back to me quickly and usually solve my issue in the first try.
Value for money
Im very happy with iPage. Everything works great - excellent support, fast hosting, a variety of hosting solutions, one-click install for wordpress, open cart, Magento, and so on. Absolutely nothing to complain about! In other words, you get a lot for your hard-earned money.
Excellent customer service, and communication!
Although, UI design, finding management tools, and buttons are hard to find and navigate on the site...however their customer care service, communication by chat system are excellent. The problems and consultation were smoothly taken care of by the assistance immediately. I would recommend my friends and family to use Ipage

They didnt put much effort into their services. they probably just care about your money.
Not at all recommended
The first year was generally fine but after it, there were always problems, especially around renewal time: Auto-renewal before the due date. I have to admit that there are nice and courtesy people at the customer service but they are not able to solve the problems permanently. I also received misleading emails regarding service payments due dates. I want to move somewhere else as soon as I will collect and rebuild my web.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Live chat is the only way to get help, but it times out after about 1 min, often before you even get a reply. The only number available is US so costs a fortune to call (Im sure they used to have a UK number?). But the biggest problem is every 18 months or so my email throws a wobbly, I have to contact support and they never seem to know what the issue is. They always advise stupid things like reconfiguring mail clients despite nothing changing on my end. Usually this takes hours and hours of being disconnected and reconnected to different people in support, and its ALWAYS because of a problem on their end with mail server. The latest one is a problem with the DKIM settings which has resulted in ALL of my email going to spam in recipients folders, this has cost me serious money as jobs I have quoted for never reached the recipient (before I realised there was a problem)
